Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire Salary: £48,300 per annum Shifts: 3 Shift Pattern (Days, Afters & Nights) Job Type: Permanent Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business based in Barnsley. The Role: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. * Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime. * PLC fault finding and troubleshooting. * Support installation work, engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives. * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety procedures. * Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient plant operations. The Person: * NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, ideally apprentice trained. * Previous electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Experience with PLC fault finding. * Proactive approach to maintenance with strong problem-solving skills. Salary & Working Hours: * Salary: £48,300 per annum * Shifts: Monday to Friday rotating 3-shift pattern: * Mornings: 6am – 2pm * Afternoons: 2pm – 10pm * Nights: 10pm – 6am * Day shifts at weekends every 4th cycle.
