At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people. At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible. We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.
What you’ll be doing
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in delivering and optimising our digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. With a focus on email marketing, social media, digital advertising, content marketing, and web updates, you’ll ensure our digital efforts are aligned with overall campaign objectives and best practices. This role will primarily support the IET’s campaigns for events, courses and awards, and you will be joining a team of 20+ marketing campaign professionals.
You’ll work closely with our Marketing Campaign Managers and Digital Marketing Specialists to execute impactful digital marketing tactics, monitor performance, and drive engagement. Your ability to analyse data and identify opportunities for optimisation will play a key part in improving campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy variety in your work, and love collaborating with stakeholders to deliver results, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and expand your digital marketing expertise.
What we hope you can bring to the role
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in digital marketing, particularly across email marketing, organic and paid social media, PPC, and web content management. You’ll bring a data-driven approach, strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring digital marketing activities are effective, compliant, and optimised for best performance.
The ideal candidate will have experience using digital marketing tools, be confident in managing multiple projects, and have a passion for staying ahead of digital trends. Your ability to communicate effectively, analyse campaign performance, and collaborate with stakeholders will be essential.
