Job Description: Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client’s team in West Bromwich, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person. The Role * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck * Working both inside and outside, so you must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions * General yard and warehouse duties as required * Following health & safety procedures at all times * Working as part of a hardworking team Requirements * Minimum 12 months’ Counterbalance FLT experience * Valid internal or external FLT licence accepted * Previous experience working outdoors is preferred * Reliable, hardworking and punctual * Comfortable working in an recycling-type working environment * Good attitude towards work and a willingness to get stuck in Working Hours Training period: For the first couple of weeks, shifts will be: * Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm * Friday: 7:00am–2:30pm Once training is completed, shifts will rotate between: Shift 1 * Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–3:00pm * Friday: 6:00am–1:30pm Shift 2 * Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–6:00pm * Friday: 7:00am–2:30pm Pay & Progression * £12.85 per hour to start * Temporary to permanent opportunity * Pay will increase once a permanent contract is offered If you have at least 12 months of Counterbalance FLT experience, hold an internal or external licence, and are looking for a long-term opportunity, apply today!
