The Opportunity

We are developing our network of Teaching Assistants for upcoming day-to-day requirements across South Bristol secondary schools.

You'll work alongside teachers and other support staff to help pupils access learning, stay engaged and overcome barriers in the classroom. Assignments may involve supporting individuals, small groups or whole-class activities, depending on each school's needs.

Please note: This is a speculative advert. Placements will depend on school demand, and work is not guaranteed immediately or on a regular basis.

Your Responsibilities

• Support pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks

• Work alongside teachers to help deliver effective lessons

• Provide additional support to individuals and small groups

• Encourage positive behaviour and pupil participation

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

• Adapt to different school settings and pupil needs
