Service Centre Legal Advisor | Kidderminster

Join a busy employment law advisory team, providing practical advice and support on a wide range of workplace and employee relations matters. This is a rolling temporary contract, initially for 6 months, with the potential to extend up to 12 months.

Location: Kidderminster (Office Based)
Pay Rate: £19.85 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Rolling Temporary Contract (initial 6 months)

The Role

As a Service Centre Legal Advisor, you'll provide first-line employment law advice and guidance, supporting individuals with workplace issues including grievances, disciplinary matters, redundancy, discrimination, contractual disputes, and employee rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical employment law and employee relations advice.
• Review contracts, policies, wage slips, and employment documentation.
• Support individuals with workplace disputes and settlement agreements.
• Explain legal rights and options clearly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage a varied caseload.
• Refer complex matters to specialist representation teams where appropriate.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and case management.

About You

• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law.
• Experience providing legal advice, employee relations guidance, HR support, or workplace case management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret legislation and provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
• Professional and empathetic approach to handling sensitive matters.
