Ready to step up and make a visible impact? Our client, a well-established nationwide employer, is looking for a Senior HR professional who wants real influence: a direct line to the HR Director, a seat alongside senior management, and the chance to shape the people agenda in a thriving Manufacturing division.

This is a newly created position with genuine scope to make your mark. You’ll lead complex change, build a constructive, long-term relationship with the trade union representatives, and lead and develop a team of HR colleagues. It’s a hands-on role where your work will make a visible difference across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business priorities
  • Build strong, constructive relationships with employee representatives, trade unions and external advisers
  • Provide expert, pragmatic advice on complex employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence
  • Lead restructuring, TUPE, consultation and change programmes
  • Coach and develop managers to lead with confidence
  • Use HR data and insight to spot risks and improve attendance, retention and engagement
  • Support workforce planning, succession and talent management
  • Manage, coach and develop members of the HR team

What you’ll bring

  • CIPD Level 7 (or working towards it), or equivalent senior HR experience
  • Experience working with trade unions
  • A background in manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the credibility to challenge at senior level
  • A proactive, results-driven approach and comfort working at pace
  • Willingness to be on site regularly, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate, and occasional out-of-hours availability

What you’ll get

  • Salary up to £75,000 dependant on experience
  • Car allowance
  • Annual bonus of up to 20%, linked to company performance
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Private medical cover
  • Access to a benefits and recognition platform with high-street discounts
  • Personal development and career growth opportunities
  • The chance to work for a well-established, values-led organisation
