Are you an immediately available Assistant Accountant looking for a role where you can make a real impact?

I am looking for an Assistant Accountant to join an exciting ERP implementation project on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract which may well be extended.

This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll support the Finance Manager through a period of change, helping to bring the finance function up to date while also playing a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system.

The role will include:

• Working through and clearing a backlog of invoices
• Analysing existing financial data and identifying discrepancies
• Supporting with reconciliations and general finance duties
• Assisting the Finance Manager throughout the ERP implementation
• Reviewing and improving existing finance processes
• Helping ensure data is accurate and ready for migration
• Providing wider support to the finance team as required

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience within an Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant role
• Good knowledge of SAGE
• Is confident working with financial data and reconciliations
• Has strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
• Is comfortable working through a backlog and meeting deadlines
• Can adapt quickly to new systems and processes
• Is proactive, organised and happy to get stuck in
