A highly respected and growing Independent Financial Advice firm near Letchworth is looking to recruit a Junior Financial Administrator to join its friendly and supportive team.

The Role

You will provide day-to-day administrative support to the financial planning team, helping to ensure client records are maintained accurately and business is processed efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation and processing of new business applications.
• Maintaining accurate client records and updating back-office systems.
• Liaising with clients and providers to obtain information and chase outstanding requirements.
• Supporting advisers with valuations, annual reviews and client documentation.
• Assisting with withdrawals, fund switches and general policy servicing.
• Organising client paperwork and maintaining electronic files.
• Providing general administrative support to advisers and Paraplanners.
• Ensuring a high standard of accuracy and customer service.

About You

• Previous administrative experience, ideally within financial services, an IFA practice or a professional services environment.
• An organised and methodical approach, with good attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
• A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of financial planning.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
