Starting Salary: £33,250 per annum After 6-Month Probation: £35,000 per annum + £250 quarterly bonus NHW Ltd is a leading food wholesaler supplying restaurants and takeaways across the region. We are looking for a reliable, professional and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive their orders safely, accurately and on time, while representing NHW Ltd to a high standard. Key Responsibilities As a Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include: Safely and efficiently operating a company delivery van. Loading and unloading food products, with items weighing up to 25kg. Delivering customer orders accurately and on time. Providing friendly and professional customer service. Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues. Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork. Completing routine vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance or safety issues. Handling paperwork and cash transactions responsibly. Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely throughout the delivery process. Working Hours 5 or 6-day working week, with alternate Tuesdays off. You must be available to work every Saturday or Sunday. 6:00am start during the first 3 months. Start time changes to 7:30am after the first 3 months. About You We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You should have: A valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good attention to detail. A reliable, honest and responsible approach to work. The physical fitness required to load and unload goods weighing up to 25kg.
