General Operative – Late Shift – Appleton – £15.57 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join our well-established client based in Appleton.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, Monday to Thursday shifts, no weekend work, an early finish on Thursday and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

£15.57 Per Hour | Monday to Thursday | No Weekends | Early Thursday Finish | Ongoing Work | Permanent Opportunities | Full Training

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Machine Operative.

Important: Due to the site location, candidates must have access to their own transport.

Shifts

• Monday to Wednesday: 4:00pm–2:30am
• Thursday: 4:00pm–1:30am
• Four shifts per week
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday off

Rates of Pay

• £15.57 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a General Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Loading raw materials into machines
• Assembling products accurately and efficiently
• Operating machinery safely
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Packing stock into boxes
• Labelling boxes and ensuring correct colour coding
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good dexterity and practical skills
• Computer literacy and confidence using IT systems
• A motivated and energetic approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Access to your own transport due to the site location

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in production, assembly or manufacturing
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience carrying out quality checks or packing duties

Training Provided

• Full training provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
