Children's Social Worker, Longer Term Safeguarding/CP, Blackburn Council Pay rate to £39 per hour Contract roleVitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Longer-term Safeguarding/CP Team in Blackburn Council. Blackburn with Darwen Children’s Services who were graded ‘good’ in its ILACS Ofsted inspection, require 3 full-time agency social workers to cover in its Family Help service carrying out single assessments and holding complex CIN and CP cases.
The candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience in assessment and/or longer term safeguarding/CP work.
The candidate must have a SWE registration and be a car driver, with previous experience of the use of Liquid Logic Childrens system an advantage.
You must have good communication skills and be a team worker with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
