Finance Manager (12-Month FTC) Manchester City Centre/Hybrid Immediate Start Required | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Our client, a highly respected global organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Due to business requirements, candidates must be available to start immediately or at short notice. This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained qualified accountant with a strong background in audit, who has subsequently gained experience within a complex international business environment. You'll lead a remote finance team, oversee reporting activities, and partner with stakeholders across a global organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a remote finance team Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes Ensure robust financial controls and compliance Manage balance sheet reviews and reconciliations Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements Partner with senior stakeholders across international markets Drive process improvement and reporting efficiencies Support ERP system enhancements and finance transformation initiativesEssential Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Previous audit experience is essential Ideally trained within a UK accountancy practice environment Proven Finance Manager experience within a complex business environment Experience working within a global organisation is essential, ideally a US-headquartered business Experience managing and developing remote teams Strong financial reporting, controls and compliance knowledge SAP or other ERP systems experience would be highly advantageous Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Recent and relevant UK finance experience Full right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available Immediately available The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded global business in a high-profile role offering international exposure, team leadership responsibility, and the chance to make an immediate impact.
