Our Client Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a turnover of c.£13m. Due to a busy budgeting season they are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the organisation throughout this period with a potential for it to go permanent.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a true 50/50 Finance Business Partnering and Management Accounting position, combining stakeholder-facing budgeting responsibilities with hands-on month-end and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
Partnering with budget holders to provide financial support and challenge.
Producing management accounts and supporting month-end activities.
Maintaining reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Working closely with the wider finance team to support planning and decision-making.
Supporting project and grant reporting requirements.
The Successful Candidate
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Strong Management Accounting background.
Proven budgeting and forecasting experience.
Strong Finance Business Partnering and stakeholder management skills.
Experience of project and grant accounting.
Ideally from the charity/not for profit sector
