Managing Director – The Role:

The Managing Director will take responsibility for the commercial, strategic and operational performance of the business, with a particular emphasis on business development, revenue generation and sustainable growth.

This is an opportunity for a proactive and entrepreneurial leader who thrives on identifying opportunities, winning new customers and building successful businesses. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial instincts with the leadership capability to deliver operational excellence.

Managing Director – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability and market expansion

- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers

- Develop existing customer accounts and establish long-term commercial partnerships

- Take responsibility for overall business performance, financial management and strategic planning

- Provide leadership across operational and commercial functions, ensuring effective delivery and customer satisfaction

- Identify opportunities to expand services, enter new markets and strengthen the business's competitive position

Managing Director – You:

- An experienced commercial or operational leader from the construction, engineering or specialist contracting sectors

- A demonstrable track record of winning new business, developing customer relationships and generating revenue

- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing financial performance and delivering profitable growth

- Entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated by building and developing businesses

- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills

- Experience at Managing Director, Commercial Director, Operations Director, Regional Director or equivalent senior leadership level
