What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a RICS Building Surveyor:

• Undertaking residential property inspections and completing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
• Examining the condition of key building elements, including roofs, walls, floors and internal finishes
• Recording defects, highlighting areas of concern and identifying where further investigation may be required
• Producing comprehensive survey reports with appropriate condition ratings and recommendations
• Discussing survey findings with clients and helping them understand any implications for their purchase
• Planning inspection schedules and ensuring reports are completed accurately and within agreed timescales

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualified, or actively working towards professional membership
• Practical experience in residential property surveying and inspections
• Familiarity with RICS Home Survey Level 2 standards and reporting procedures
• Sound knowledge of building construction, materials, defects and property maintenance
• Ability to identify potential structural and maintenance concerns during inspections
• Strong report-writing skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly
• Professional and approachable manner with excellent client communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to properties within the local area
