Quality Assurance Assistant

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid | Burton upon Trent (1 day per week)

£28,000–£34,000 per annum pro rata | 6-month FTC

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join a growing software business on a six-month fixed-term contract.

Working closely with the Quality & Regulatory team, you’ll help maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring documentation, records and processes are accurate, up to date and compliant with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining quality documentation, procedures and records within the QMS.
• Supporting internal and external audits, including coordinating documentation and follow-up actions.
• Monitoring non-conformances and corrective actions, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Maintaining staff training records and coordinating onboarding training.
• Supporting ISO 13485 compliance, ESG reporting and quality data analysis.
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required.

About you:

You’ll be organised, proactive and have excellent attention to detail, with good communication and analytical skills. Previous experience in quality assurance, compliance or a regulated environment would be beneficial, although training will be provided. You’ll be comfortable managing documentation, working with different teams and learning new systems and processes.
