We are seeking an Account Assistant for a highly regarding Firm of Accountants in the West Kirby area.

This role is working with an interesting and diverse portfolio of clients from a wide range of sectors involving a mixture of Accounts, Tax, VAT, and Bookkeeping

The ideal candidate will have over 4 Years and current Accountancy Practice experience and are in the process of completing ACCA/ACA/AAT or QBE (Qualified by Experience)

Duties

• Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Limited Companies and Partnerships
• Corporate/ Personal Tax Computations
• Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
• Training clients on accountancy software
• Dealing with client queries
• Attending client meetings
• Assisting & mentoring junior staff
