I'm currently working with established financial planning firms in Aberdeen who are looking to strengthen their teams, and there are opportunities to suit different levels of experience and career ambitions.

The Opportunities

Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities could include:

• Providing administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners
• Preparing and processing new business applications
• Liaising with clients and product providers
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring documentation is up to date
• Supporting the preparation of client reviews and financial planning reports
• Assisting with compliance checks and ensuring files meet regulatory requirements
• Developing your knowledge of file checking, Consumer Duty and wider compliance processes

What I'm Looking For

Ideally, you'll have previous experience working within an IFA practice, financial planning firm or wealth management environment.

You'll be organised, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy being part of a team.

If you're interested in moving towards compliance or more technical responsibilities, that's something I'd be particularly keen to discuss. You don't necessarily need to be doing this already, but an interest in developing your knowledge would be a great starting point.
