A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an ACA or ACCA Qualified Client Manager to join its team. The Role

As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service, and acting as a trusted advisor to businesses across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of SME clients

Reviewing statutory accounts, VAT returns, and tax work

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Advising clients on accounting and business matters

Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team

Working closely with Partners to support business growth

Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified

Minimum 5 years' accountancy practice experience

Previous experience managing a client portfolio

Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
