18-Month Contract | International / Multi-Country Programme

My client, a leading business services group, is looking for an experienced HRIS / HCM Deployment Manager to support a 18-month international HR technology programme involving multiple deployments across different operating companies and geographies.

The initial focus will be Germany , with further operating companies and countries to follow. Extensive travel will be in involved with this assignment combined with significant periods of remote working.

The Role

The role will take ownership of individual HCM deployments from preparation through to go-live, working closely with technology teams, HR, payroll and operating company stakeholders.

The programme will involve the rollout of a new HR technology platform, with ADP forming a key part of the landscape, alongside the phased replacement of existing technology, including Ceridian.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making sure each operating company is ready to adopt the new technology, including data, processes, testing, stakeholder engagement and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple HRIS / HCM deployments across different operating companies and geographies.
• Take deployments through the full lifecycle, including data collection, validation, migration, testing, readiness and go-live.
• Work with HR, payroll, technology and business stakeholders to ensure each deployment is properly prepared.
• Manage the transition from existing HR technology, including Ceridian, into the new platform.
• Support deployments covering HR, payroll and time recording / time management.
• Work directly with operating company management and stakeholders, translating technology requirements into clear business actions.
• Coordinate activities across multiple deployments, ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on track.
• Identify and resolve deployment issues pragmatically, escalating where required.
• Ensure users and stakeholders are prepared for implementation and adoption of the new system.
• Work within an established deployment methodology while taking ownership of delivery.

Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering HCM / HRIS implementations, rollouts or deployments.
• Experience taking systems through to go-live, rather than purely requirements or design-focused experience.
• Experience working across HR, payroll and/or time management / time recording.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including working directly with business and operating company teams.
• Comfortable managing multiple deployments or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of HR technology and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach with a strong focus on delivery.

Systems Experience

ADP experience is highly relevant but not essential.

Candidates with deployment experience across platforms such as Ceridian / Dayforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG or similar will also be considered.

The key requirement is proven HCM / HRIS deployment experience, rather than deep expertise in one specific technology.

Profile

We are looking for someone who is practical, collaborative and delivery-focused. You should be comfortable operating in a hands-on environment, dealing directly with operating companies and keeping multiple deployments moving.

This is not an HR Business Partner or HR strategy role. The focus is on executing the technology rollout, managing stakeholders and ensuring each operating company is ready to go live.

You will have technical support available, but will take ownership of the deployment and stakeholder management activity.
