Key Requirements: * Proven experience in a management role within residential care or supported living for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. * Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and sustaining effective staff teams. * Demonstrable knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding frameworks and relevant health and social care legislation. * Experience of managing services that support individuals with challenging behaviours, including risk management. * Ability to implement and maintain robust quality assurance and improvement processes. * Confident in handling complex situations, making sound decisions and prioritising effectively in a busy service. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage staff, residents and external professionals. * Competent in using care management systems and maintaining accurate, compliant documentation. Desirable Skills: * Experience in a small residential home setting with complex needs and challenging behaviours. * Knowledge and application of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches. * Experience of leading services through CQC inspections and implementing post-inspection action plans. * Background in developing and delivering staff training in behaviour management and person-centred care. * Familiarity with local authority commissioning and contract monitoring processes in West Yorkshire.
