Location: Exeter, Devon Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 D.O.E. + Package Job Type: Permanent Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure   Appoint is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Civil Engineering contractor based in Exeter. The business has secured a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects across Devon, extending beyond five years, offering excellent long-term stability and career opportunities. This is an office-based role in Exeter, working closely with the commercial and operational teams.   The Role: Commercial management of civil engineering projects under NEC4 contracts. Managing valuations, applications for payment, compensation events and final accounts. Subcontractor procurement, management and payments. Preparing cost forecasts, CVRs and commercial reports. Managing commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project profitability. Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure successful delivery. About You: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working for a Civil Engineering contractor. Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC4 contracts. Experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong commercial awareness, contractual knowledge and communication skills. Water or wastewater infrastructure experience would be advantageous but is not essential. What's on Offer: £70,000 to £85,000 + Package. Over five years of secured work across Devon.
