Amour Recruitment are currently looking for a Warehouse Administration Operative to join our clients small, friendly team based in Southampton.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, adaptable and keen to learn. Good attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively are essential.

The successful candidate will become part of a small team of four and will need to have a pleasant and professional personality, with the ability to work well with colleagues, customers, drivers and warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

• General administration, including filing, preparing job files and managing emails.
• Preparing and managing manifests.
• Producing and processing gate passes.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with enquiries professionally.
• Liaising with drivers and coordinating information.
• Supporting the transport team with subcontracted transport arrangements.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.
• Providing general support to the warehouse and transport operations as required.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous administration and/or warehouse experience.
• Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Is confident speaking with customers, drivers and colleagues.
• Is adaptable and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
• Can remain organised and accurate in a busy working environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday- 08:00–17:00

Salary: £26,436.80 (This role is offered on a temp to perm basis, so you must be available to start work immediately)
