Working Pattern: Combination of office-based and remote working

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children's Services Team Manager to lead and support a busy Locality Team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, management, and supervision to a team of Social Workers and support staff.
• Oversee the management of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases.
• Ensure statutory responsibilities and safeguarding duties are met to a high standard.
• Support staff development through regular supervision, guidance, and performance management.
• Monitor service delivery, caseloads, and practice standards to ensure quality and compliance.
• Chair meetings and contribute to strategy discussions, planning, and decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Management experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory guidance.
• Experience managing teams within a Locality, Child Protection, Children in Need, or Children in Care setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively manage performance, risk, and service delivery.
