Job Description: Ramage Transport have vacancies for HGV Class 1 Day Shift Distance Drivers. The role of the HGV Driver involves loading, delivering and collecting palletised goods to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times. Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver should have/be: * Experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting goods from customers sites * Class 1 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card * Ensure trailers are loaded in a safe and secure manner * Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles and trailers * Follow all company operational procedures * Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive. * An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace * Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail Benefits include: * Competitive salary * Night out allowance (non taxable) * Weekly Wages * Overtime * 28 annual holidays * Contributory Pension Scheme * Dedicated vehicle Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Company pension * On-site parking
