Lead Generation Executive

Location: Office-Based
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Lead Generation Executive to join a growing Business Development team. This role is responsible for identifying and researching prospective clients, gathering key business intelligence, and qualifying opportunities for the sales team.

This is not a direct sales position. Instead, you will engage with organisations to understand their structure, key decision-makers, and future plans, helping to create high-quality opportunities for the wider business development function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target organisations and identify suitable business opportunities.
  • Gather information on company size, structure, stakeholders, and growth plans.
  • Contact businesses by telephone to build relationships and map organisational structures.
  • Identify decision-makers and key contacts within target companies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
  • Work closely with internal teams to share market intelligence and opportunities.
  • Qualify and pass opportunities to the Business Development team.
  • Provide regular progress updates and maintain a consistent pipeline of target organisations.
  • Ensure activity levels and call volumes meet agreed targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Confident building rapport with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong research and information-gathering abilities.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and managing accurate records.
  • Self-motivated and able to work towards activity targets.
  • Previous experience within lead generation, customer service, administration, recruitment, market research, or business support would be advantageous.

Personal Attributes

  • Proactive and driven with a positive attitude.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for their work.
  • Strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to shared success.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
  • Ongoing training and development to support your career progression.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • The opportunity to join a successful, growing business with ambitious plans for the future.
  • Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend work.

This role would suit someone who enjoys research, speaking with people, gathering information, and contributing to business growth without the pressure of a direct sales role.
