We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Trainee Accountant / Accountancy Apprentice, offering the opportunity to gain practical experience, develop valuable professional skills and work towards recognised accountancy qualifications.

You don't need to have worked in accountancy before. What matters is your attitude, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and determination to build a successful career.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced accountancy professionals, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day activities of a successful accountancy practice.

As your knowledge and confidence develop, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and become a valued member of the team.

Your training and experience are expected to cover areas such as:

• Assisting with the preparation of accounts for a variety of businesses.
• Supporting bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
• Helping prepare financial information, reports and reconciliations.
• Gaining an understanding of VAT, taxation and financial compliance.
• Learning how professional accountants support and advise their clients.
• Developing confidence with accounting software and digital financial systems.
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver accurate, timely and professional client service.

You'll also develop the communication, organisational and problem-solving skills that are essential to a successful career in accountancy.

Training and Development

This opportunity is designed for somebody who wants to learn, develop and build a long-term professional career.

You'll combine practical experience in a professional working environment with structured apprenticeship training and the opportunity to work towards relevant accountancy qualifications.

With support and guidance from experienced colleagues, you'll develop the technical knowledge, professional confidence and commercial understanding needed to progress within the profession.
