NOW RECRUITING – FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVES Location: Potton, Bedfordshire We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives for a busy food production company based in Potton, specialising in pork and beef products. We are looking for hardworking, reliable and committed individuals who are willing to work long hours and take advantage of regular overtime opportunities. Pay Rates * Basic rate: £12.71 per hour (first 40 hours per week). * Monday to Friday overtime: £19.06 per hour (after 40 hours). * Saturday overtime: £19.06 per hour. * Sunday overtime: Double time (£25.42 per hour). Working Hours * Day shifts starting at 6:00am or 7:00am. * Monday to Friday as standard. * Shifts typically lasting 10–12 hours per day. * Overtime available during the week and at weekends. * Candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours. Duties & Responsibilities * Working on a food production line handling pork and beef products. * Preparing, processing and packing meat products. * Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. * Following production instructions and health & safety procedures. * Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets. Requirements * Reliable, punctual and hardworking. * Willingness to work long hours and regular overtime. * Comfortable working with raw pork and beef products. * Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. * Good attention to detail. * Previous food production or meat processing experience is an advantage but not essential.
