Management Accountant

Norwich | Temporary, 6 months | Part time, 3 days per week

I am working with a Norwich based organisation to recruit an experienced Management Accountant for an initial six month assignment.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will support management reporting, financial controls and process improvements within a small finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Supporting budgets, forecasts and budget holder reporting.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Preparing year end and audit information.
• Improving financial reporting, processes and controls.

About You:

• Strong practical management accounting experience.
• Hands on Sage 200 experience is essential, including creating and customising reports within the system.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, reporting and automation tools such as VBA or Power Query.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and audit preparation.
• Able to work independently, investigate issues and improve existing processes.
