We are currently recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northwich, working across Reception and Year 1. This is an excellent opportunity to support young learners during the crucial early stages of their education and development.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across Reception and Year 1 with their learning and development.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to pupils where required.
• Help create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic progress.
• Encourage learning through play and interactive activities.
• Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children in an EYFS or Key Stage 1 setting.

Is patient, caring, and passionate about supporting young learners.

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Is flexible, proactive, and able to use their own initiative.

Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
