Part-time Intervention Teacher required for Morecambe School

We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to work with two pupils with additional needs at a friendly and supportive school. The pupils are working below the Age-Related Expectations (ARE) and require an individualised curriculum. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculums and the ability to liaise effectively with outside agencies and professionals.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Work from 08:30 to 12:00, Monday to Friday.
• Develop and implement an individualised curriculum for two pupils with additional needs.
• Monitor and assess the progress of the pupils, adjusting the curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the pupils' educational and developmental needs.
• Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculums.
• Proven experience in a similar role, working with pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with outside agencies and professionals.
• Ability to create and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
