The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
• Deliver engaging, practical, and stimulating lessons that inspire a love of science.
• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
• Monitor progress effectively and implement targeted interventions where needed.
• Contribute positively to the wider Science department and school community.
• Promote high expectations of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.

The Ideal CandidateYou will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards gaining QTS.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry.
• Be capable of creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Have a commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
