HGV Technician – Rotating Shifts Northampton | £45,760–£52,624 Per Annum DOE Description We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Northampton. Salary – £45,760–£52,624 per annum, depending on experience. Rotating Shift Pattern Early Shift Monday–Thursday: 06:00–15:30. Friday: 06:00–14:30. Late Shift Monday–Thursday: 12:30–22:00. Friday: 12:30–21:00. Saturday 07:00/08:00–12:00, paid at overtime rates. 44 hours per week. The HGV Technician Role Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles. Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. Complete defect repairs and use diagnostic equipment. Follow manufacturer procedures and workshop standards. Complete job cards and repair documentation. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Previous experience as an HGV Technician. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Reliable and professional approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence preferred. Benefits Competitive salary. Paid Saturday overtime.
