Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking for rewarding work in early years settings? Stafflex Education is recruiting qualified Nursery Nurses to support a variety of nurseries and childcare provisions across Huddersfield.

We have opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements, including potential maternity cover opportunities. Whether you are looking for flexibility or a more consistent working pattern, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in different early years environments while making a positive difference to children's development.

About the Role

• Provide high-quality care, learning and play experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

• Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing and sleep times.

• Encourage children's social, emotional, physical and language development through play-based activities.

• Work collaboratively with nursery teams to meet children's individual needs.

• Follow safeguarding procedures and adhere to nursery policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

• A caring, patient and nurturing approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain the required checks.
