Interim Finance Business Partner
Location: Telford (Hybrid Working Available)
Rate: £400-£550 per day inside
Duration: 3-6 Months

The Opportunity

We are supporting a well-established business in Telford who are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to provide commercial finance support during a period of change and growth. This is a highly visible role, partnering with operational and senior leadership teams to drive performance, improve decision-making, and deliver meaningful financial insights.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, hands on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and challenge
• Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting and commentary
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
• Analyse revenue, margins, costs and key business drivers
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain financial models to support decision making
• Provide financial support on business projects and improvement initiatives
• Assist with month-end activities and management accounts where required
• Develop meaningful KPIs and performance dashboards
• Present financial information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Person Specification

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence non-finance teams
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Comfortable working independently and adding value from day one
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, FMCG or service-led environments would be advantageous
