This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-quality provision across areas that may include Access to Higher Education, Pre-Access, Health and Social Care, Peer Mentoring and Counselling, from Tailored Learning through to Level 4.
Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will help maintain high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, learner progress and quality assurance. You will act as the first point of contact for routine course-level matters and escalate significant concerns where appropriate.

You will also teach across a range of programmes, plan schemes of work, undertake assessment activities and provide effective tutorial support and guidance to learners.
A key part of the role will be taking responsibility for learner attendance, retention, achievement and success. You will contribute to enrolment and promotional activities, undertake initial and diagnostic assessments and monitor learners’ individual learning plans. The role may also include the line management and development of staff associated with the programmes you lead.
About You
You will be a professional, flexible and organised individual with a motivational approach to your work and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and support.
You will have relevant industry experience and a sound understanding of curriculum planning, review and development. You will be able to develop effective strategies to improve learner attendance, retention, achievement and success, while providing clear and constructive feedback that supports learners to progress.
With strong verbal and written communication skills, you will understand the pastoral needs of learners and be confident using a range of teaching methodologies. You will also have the ability to support and guide colleagues associated with the programmes you lead
