Key responsibilities of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant: Preparation of the Finance Pack for the Trust Assisting with the monthly monitoring of expenditure against the Capital Programme Reporting of Capital expenditure Preparation and maintenance of the trust's Capital Asset Register Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Accounts and Charitable Accounts Leading on the quarterly Agreement of Balances exercise Day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable Officer and Financial Accounts AssistantRequired experience/qualifications of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant: CCAB part qualified accountant NHS finance experience in a technical/financial accounting role Supervisory or line management experience Experience of NHS Statutory Accounting Benefits available alongside the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant: NHS Pension scheme Flexible/hybrid working arrangements How to apply for the position: If you believe you have the required experience and qualifications outlined above for this opportunity, please apply within.
