Electrical Engineer – Birstall – £20.50ph PAYE – ASAP Start – TEMP We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a temporary contract at a manufacturing facility in Birstall, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer looking for an immediate start, with a minimum one-month contract and the potential for ongoing work. Job Details Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Birstall, West Yorkshire, WF17 Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour PAYE Contract: Temporary – Minimum 1 Month Start Date: ASAP Hours: 6:30am – 3pm Environment: Manufacturing / Industrial Responsibilities * As an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs. * Electrical fault finding, lighting repairs and emergency lighting checks. * Completing statutory compliance inspections and maintenance records. * Carrying out basic plumbing, water temperature checks and minor fabric repairs. * Supporting fire door inspections and general building maintenance. * Liaising with contractors and ensuring work is completed safely. * Updating maintenance documentation and complying with health and safety procedures. Requirements * To be considered for this Electrical Engineer position, you will need: * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification + AM2 (or equivalent) – Essential * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – Essential * Valid ECS/CSCS Grade Card or equivalent – Essential * 2391 Inspection & Testing – Desirable * Previous electrical maintenance experience within commercial or industrial environments. * Experience with PPMs, reactive maintenance and general building services. * Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance skills. * Full UK driving licence. * BMS experience and knowledge of SFG20 desirable.
