Reed Banking is delighted to be representing an established international bank in the search for an Interim Treasury Dealer to join its London-based Treasury function.

This is a broad and hands-on position offering exposure across treasury dealing, FX, liquidity management, money markets, securities operations, regulatory reporting and client investment services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the bank's balance sheet management, funding activities and investment operations within a highly regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Markets

• Manage treasury positions to optimise income whilst operating within approved limits and risk appetite.
• Execute FX transactions (spot and forward) across major currencies.
• Monitor and manage the bank's interest rate exposure.
• Undertake money market borrowing and lending activities with approved counterparties.

Securities Operations

• Support Middle and Back Office activities across a range of investment products including:
  • UK, European and US Equities
  • Corporate and Government Bonds
  • Mutual Funds
  • Derivative Products

Essential Experience

• Previous experience within Treasury, Treasury Operations, Money Markets or Treasury Dealing gained within a banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • FX Spot & Forward Trading
  • Liquidity Management
  • Money Markets
  • Interest Rate Risk Management
• Experience supporting securities settlement and custody operations.
• Working knowledge of:
  • CASS
  • MiFID II
  • UK EMIR
  • CSDR

Technical Skills

• Bloomberg Trading Platform.
• SWIFT messaging, including MT500 series messages
