SEND & SEMH Teachers & Support Staff | East Sussex
What would make your next move in education worthwhile? A different setting, more flexibility or the chance to develop within SEND?
I’m expanding my network of Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and specialist support staff across East Sussex for the 2026/27 academic year.
I work with primary and secondary SEND and SEMH settings around Hastings, Battle, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Newhaven, Lewes and surrounding areas.
Whether you’re actively looking or simply considering your options, I’d be interested in hearing from you.
Who am I looking to connect with?
SEND & SEMH Teachers
Teaching Assistants and LSAs
Behaviour & Engagement Mentors
1:1 Support staff
Pastoral & Intervention staff
Some school requirements call for specialist experience. Others may suit people bringing skills from mainstream education, care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or tutoring.
Finding a setting that suits you
Before moving into recruitment, I worked directly within SEND education myself.
I know that the pupils, staff team and approach of a school can make a considerable difference to your experience.
We’ll talk about your background, the young people you enjoy supporting and what you’re looking for. That helps me consider you for suitable work as school needs arise.
You’ll also have access to CPD and professional development.
Pay & practical information
TA and LSA opportunities are paid from £92.60 per day, with qualified teaching roles paid to scale where applicable.
You’ll need an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service. If you don’t currently hold one, you’ll need to apply through us and join the Update Service. I’ll support you through the process, with the associated cost covered by the applicant.
We’ll require your full employment and education history and references covering 24 months of employment in total where possible, prioritising recent and relevant employment.
