Market Development & Key Account Manager
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (Full Time) Monday - Friday
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

ManpowerGroup are currently recruiting for a Market Development & Key Account Manager on behalf of an established international manufacturer specialising in sustainable returnable packaging solutions. Supplying a wide range of bespoke plastic transit and storage products, the business supports customers across various industrial sectors with solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, product protection, and supply chain sustainability. With a strong focus on innovation and long-term customer partnerships, the company continues to expand its presence across global markets.

The main purpose of the role:
To drive sales and business growth by identifying new opportunities, converting prospects into customers, and maximising revenue and margin performance through effective market research, relationship building, and sector knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong technical, customer and commercial know-how of RTP products and market needs
• Proactively share the knowledge, insights with the sales and operations team for higher conversion rate and customer satisfaction
• Identify, develop and maintain strong connections with potential and existing customers and key stakeholders, with credibility and mastery in the RTP related operational awareness, attending seminars, trade shows and similar opportunities to raise our clients profile in the market.
• Develop an understanding of customer requirements, provide tailored solutions, and drive profitable sales opportunities from initial contact through to completion.
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to create tailored solutions and compelling value propositions that drive business success.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in business development, sales, or key account management.
• Relevant qualification in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven success in winning new business and developing customer relationships.
• Strong ability to identify customer needs and develop commercially successful solutions.
• Track record of driving revenue growth through a consultative sales approach.
• Ability to analyse markets, understand competitors, and create winning strategies.
• Personal contributions and accountability of managing global multinational Key Accounts and Business revenue above US$ 5-10 million per year.
• Strong knowledge of the UK and wider European business landscape.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
