Ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set by their teacher. Supporting students with instructions and encouraging participation. Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidance. Reporting any concerns, incidents or issues to the appropriate member of staff. What we are looking for To be eligible to work as a Cover Supervisor, you will need: Experience working with young people and the confidence to manage a group of students. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A professional, reliable and flexible approach. The ability to use your initiative and remain calm under pressure. A good standard of written and spoken English. A willingness to work across different secondary school settings. The right to work in the UK and the ability to complete the required safeguarding and compliance checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
