The primary focus of this role is to review requests for patient health records received under subject access provisions of the data protection act 2018 / UK GDPR, court orders, police and any other statutory requirements. Postholder will manage their own caseload with support from IG Team and Deputy Head of IG & Patient Records and on a daily basis will follow set processes to extract data from various clinical systems, liaise with other departments to review records (safeguarding, clinical health psychology, CAMHS), apply redaction to data where necessary, and then facilitate disclosure to the requestor.
