The Opportunity Sphere Solutions is recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK residential developer on a nine-month freelance contract in Bristol. The company is a well-established housebuilder delivering high-quality residential developments, including large-scale apartment schemes. This role will focus on a reinforced concrete (RC) frame apartment project, offering an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team. Key Responsibilities * Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the development. * Oversee cost control, forecasting, valuations and financial reporting. * Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts. * Monitor project budgets, variations and cost changes. * Work closely with the project team to maintain commercial performance. * Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction. * Strong commercial experience on residential developments and RC frame apartment projects. * Experience managing subcontractor packages, procurement and final accounts. * Excellent knowledge of cost control, forecasting and contractual procedures. * Strong communication, negotiation and commercial management skills
