Job description: Earthworks Supervisor Location: Ipswich IP164EW Pay: £27.81 PAYE Overtime rate after 39 hours Hours: 7:00am-18:00 12 days on 2 days off every other weekend off Fortel is looking for an experienced Earthworks Supervisor. This is an all‑round supervisory role, involving hands‑on oversight of structures, earthworks, and general construction operations, with flexibility to cover additional areas when team members are on leave. Key Duties Supervise day‑to‑day civils activities including structures, earthworks, drainage, and general construction tasks Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure works progress safely and efficiently Support the delivery of planned works in line with programme requirements Assist with daily briefings, task allocations, and on‑site coordination Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to specifications Maintain communication with site management, engineers, and other supervisors Provide cover across multiple work fronts when team members are absentRequired Skills & Experience Strong all‑round civils background: structures, earthworks, and general construction operations Valid Gold or Black CSCS SSSTS Up‑to‑date CVIf you're interested in this Working Foreman/Woman role in Ipswich, please apply and we'll be in touch.
