Our client, Enfield Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its Leaving Care team.

This is an agency assignment required for 1 year maternity cover.

This is paid in line with London DFE rates.

The role will involve the following:

• Leaving Care Team
• Preparation for Adulthood
• Independence and Life Skills
• Transition planning
• Support with accommodation, education, employment and training
• Safeguarding

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have significant experience working with children and young people who are looked after and/or leaving care
