Factory Cleaner & Packer – Temp to Perm Location: Thriplow, Cambridgeshire Pay: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm My client is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Cleaner & Packer to join their busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire. This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is happy to carry out a mixture of factory cleaning, packing and general production duties and is looking for a stable, long-term position. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and safe factory environment while also assisting with packing, preparing and handling products ready for dispatch. IMPORTANT: Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have their own transport due to the location of the site and lack of public transport links. Duties Will Include: General cleaning throughout the factory and production areas Sweeping, mopping and maintaining clean factory floors Cleaning warehouse, storage and communal areas Cleaning staff toilets, kitchens, canteens and changing rooms Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly Packing and preparing finished products ready for dispatch Checking products for quality before packing Labelling, sealing and organising packed products Ensuring products are packed correctly and safely Assisting with general production and warehouse duties Moving and organising materials and finished goods Keeping packing stations and work areas clean and organised Following health & safety and hygiene procedures Reporting any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns Supporting additional cleaning, packing and general factory duties as required The Ideal Candidate: Previous cleaning, packing, factory or warehouse experience preferred Must have a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle Reliable, punctual and hardworking Comfortable carrying out both cleaning and packing duties Good attention to detail Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Able to work independently and as part of a team Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised workplace Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards Flexible and willing to help across different areas of the factory Positive attitude and willingness to learn Hours & Pay Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience Weekly pay Full-time, ongoing work Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity Opportunity to secure a permanent position Mixture of cleaning and packing responsibilities Established and supportive working environment This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term position within a manufacturing environment, offering a variety of cleaning, packing and general factory duties.
