Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a part-time Accountant on a permanent basis. This role will be based onsite 5 days a week with flexible hours, 20-25 hours a week. This role would suit someone with experience of working in an SME who is happy to be hands on.

The role

The part-time Accountant will be responsible for a range of duties, and ultimately responsible for the businesses finances. This is a standalone role requiring someone with previous experience of working in a small business. This role will start before Christmas so you must be available immediately or on a short notice period. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Invoice processing - sales ledger and purchase ledger.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Management accounts preparation.
• Preparing payroll data.
• Working closely with the management team and consulting on the financial position of the business.
• Cashflow management.

Required experience

• Previous experience of working in a small business.
• Experience of preparing management accounts.
• Intermediate level excel (vlookups and pivot tables).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a standalone role.

Package

• £40,000 - £50,000 FTE.
• 20-25 hours a week.
• 5 days onsite preferred, flexible hours.
