LIFT SERVICE ENGINEER Leeds Basic Salary: £50,000 (Depending on experience & qualifications) Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join an established lift engineering company. The role covers Leeds and surrounding areas, offering a manageable service route, strong technical support and long-term career progression. THE ROLE Carry out PPM and servicing of passenger and goods lifts. Undertake mechanical and electrical fault-finding and minor repairs. Attend lift breakdowns and safely return equipment to service. Identify worn or defective components and report repair requirements. Carry out adjustments, component replacements and remedial works where required. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Work in accordance with current UK health and safety legislation, LOLER requirements and relevant industry standards. Manage an allocated service route independently. AREAS COVERED Leeds, Morley, Rothwell, Pudsey, Bradford, Garforth, Horsforth, Yeadon, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Otley, and surrounding areas. Experience carrying out PPM on passenger and/or goods lifts. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience attending breakdowns and safely returning lifts to service. Able to identify worn or defective components and report repair requirements. Experience servicing and maintaining a variety of lift manufacturers, equipment and control systems. Able to work independently across an allocated service route. Good understanding of UK lift safety requirements and maintenance procedures. Relevant lift engineering qualifications and/or substantial industry experience.
