Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Early Years Practitioner Position: Level 2 & 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner Location: Letchworth Hours: Part Time & Full TIme Hours Days: Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent Start date: As soon as possible Madison Reign is currently recruiting for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Level 2 & 3 Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Letchworth This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner who is dedicated to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing during their early years. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, reliable and confident working with children aged 0–5 years, with a genuine passion for early childhood education. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. * Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. * Support children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. * Observe, assess and record children's progress, identifying individual learning needs. * Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues. * Encourage children's independence, confidence and communication skills. * Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor activities. * Maintain a safe, clean and organised learning environment. * Follow nursery safeguarding, health and safety and child protection policies. * Work collaboratively with other nursery practitioners to provide outstanding early years care. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: * A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or an equivalent relevant qualification. * Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting. * A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences. * A genuine commitment to supporting children's development and wellbeing.
